The DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation (Trust) funds a wide range of summer programs across the District. The Trust funds engaging, high-quality programs operated by community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and charter schools. These dynamic programs provide a tremendous variety of activities, including arts, recreation, academic support and field trips. Each program offers unique programming for the children and youth in the neighborhood – and the ages-served and operating hours will vary by program. Children and youth who participate in the activities will receive free breakfast and lunch through the Free Summer Food Service Program.
